Dear Friends,

We have just begun the month of Tammuz, known in Jewish tradition as the hottest month of the year. In addition to this being a peak summer month, with an increase in vacation activities, the Kabbalah teaches that on this month we benefit from a special energetic flow from the spiritual worlds, which enables us to take advantage of this period of time for special spiritual achievements.
The above, and the cosmic meaning of the sun’s heat are the topics of the two short articles in this newsletter. You will also enjoy reading about the special 'Kabbalah for the Community' activities that we held during the past few weeks, and about some of the special summer programs we are planning for the upcoming weeks, particularly the Kabbalah Study Week for young English speaking people.

Special Summer Programs

In addition to our regular summer program, which includes increased activity with tourists who visit Tzfat, we will produce and participate in several special events this summer.

A Kabbalah Study Week - July 27th-August 2nd
A marvelous, special opportunity to learn and experience Tzfat Kabbalah in a special atmosphere in the English language.
The program, produced jointly by the International Center for Tzfat Kabbalah and the will include workshops in the Kabbalah and art, fieldtrips, lectures, community work and more.

’Kabbalah in the Community’

An outstanding aspect of Kabbalah tradition is the importance placed on contribution to the community, and our organization operates in this spirit. The encounter with the Kabbalah creates a positive atmosphere of desire for social involvement, volunteer activity and community contribution, especially when the teachings themselves are conveyed in a joyful, experiential manner, as in our activities.
In recent weeks our organization conducted special 'Kabbalah in the Community' activities. As a result of their success we have received additional requests for many more such activities.

The need for electric energy reaches new heights in view of world population growth, and the rise in the standard of living in developed countries.
