The International Center for Tzfat Kabbalah |
| Dear Friends, |
 |
We are pleased to present you with the second newsletter of the International Center for Tzfat Kabbalah. We appreciate your positive and supportive response to our first issue, which we delivered last month and we thank you for taking the time to write us. We are now planning the next exciting, activity-packed season. Anyone who has visited Tzfat and the vicinity at this time of the year will remember the special feel of the Galilee in the spring – a magical atmosphere of blooming, renewal and an abundance of positive energy. As Passover and the spring approach, along with the month of Nisan, symbolizing the renewal of time (the "first of the months"), we have added two relevant articles: "Pesach according to the Kabbalah" and "The Acceleration of Time." The figures for the first quarter of 2008 show that we hosted approximately 3,000 visitors from different countries, who enjoyed diverse programs on the subject of Tzfat Kabbalah. Media crews from the world over also continued to visit us, so that we enjoyed press and electronic coverage in many different locations. We continue to find that the authentic Tzfat Kabbalah draws interest among a large and growing number of people around the world. On behalf of the Center I would like to wish you all pleasant reading. Best wishes for a Kosher and happy Passover, and an inspiring spring renewal. Eyal Riess, Director The International Center for Tzfat Kabbalah | |

In response to the increasing demand of small groups and individual visitors to study Kabbalah more deeply, we have opened a new branch of activity which we call 'The Tzfat Kabbalah Learning Center'.Almost every day we receive requests from people interested in studying Kabbalah. Some contact us by telephone, some send e-mails and others just arrive at the office.

Passover (Pesach) According to the Kabbalah Kabbalah teaches us many things about the inner meaning of all the Jewish holydays. Many Kabbalistic texts explain the inner dimension of Pesach (Passover). During Passover, also known as the Festival of Freedom, we celebrate our liberation from slavery in Egypt. The teachings of the Kabbalah tell us that the word mitzrayim (Hebrew for Egypt) means boundaries and restrictions.
